Maridadi Events was inspired by a true love and passion for fabulous events. The name “Maridadi” is Swahili for Stylish, Modern, and Elegant which is everything we represent. We are committed and passionate about servicing our clients beyond expectations. We are well prepared to provide services of any magnitude and budget.

The owner, Yaminah Coursey, has contributed her modern style and elegance to clients across New Jersey and the tri-state area. After years of coordinating events for pleasure, she decided to pursue her passion as a business owner. She has creatively assisted numerous clients with all types of events. This woman has expertise in the areas of creative design, negotiation skills, business management, communication, organizational leadership, and coordinating events.

Throughout her career journey, Yaminah has learned valuable business concepts. One of the most valuable lessons learned is to listen to the clients and understand their needs and wants. Then, make their vision a reality!
The Small Details
With her services, Yaminah's goal is to provide themed events that will be spoken about years after they have concluded. So, she utilizes her creative design and “attention to details” to perform her duties effectively. She also has the business skills to negotiate successfully with vendors and contractors.
In her personal life, Yaminah Coursey is a wife and a mother of two. She works hard and enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. Regardless of her busy schedule, she finds time to have a good time and simply enjoy life!
